Drawing Challenges

This week’s Weekly Wonder invites children to design a playground for friendly monsters. They can use the guide in the Wonderkid Studio app, draw on the printable activity sheet, or start completely from scratch.

What is this week’s challenge?
Imagine a playground made especially for monsters. It might have slime slides, cloud swings, bouncy mountains, tunnels for tiny monsters or a climbing frame for giants. There is no correct answer. The aim is to help children imagine, invent and feel proud of what they make.

How to use the activity sheet
Parents and carers can print the activity sheet and use it as a guided drawing activity. Children can draw their idea, give it a name, add features, describe who uses it, and present the finished playground like a mini project.

Share their Wonder
Parents and carers can share a photo of the finished artwork on Instagram and tag @wonderkid.studio. We recommend sharing the artwork only, rather than photos of children.

Why Weekly Wonders?
Weekly Wonders are bigger creative challenges for curious kids. They are designed to encourage imagination, storytelling and confidence, whether children draw in the app, on paper or both.
